Hi all! My name is Sumra Iqbal. I’m deeply passionate about fashion, beauty, and the environment. I’ve always had a fascination with fashion and the fashion industry as a whole — ranging from luxury brands and trends to thrifting affordable pieces from local consignment shops.

In 2019, I began educating myself on the tremendous impact that the fashion industry has on the environment — particularly leading and ever-popular fast fashion brands such as Zara and FashionNova. I noticed there wasn’t enough awareness on social media of the hazards of over-consumption of fast fashion (especially with modern-day influencer culture) and decided to take action with Style for Sustainability.
